About that “one big idea” rule… I see your point, and I think I will need to do more with capturing that big idea when it appears and at least write down enough of it so it won’t evaporate when additional big ideas may hit. Still, why not go for another one or two big ideas. Though maybe I’m just greedy…

I do agree that the biggest benefit of going to conferences etc. is the opportunity to meet people face to face and make personal connections.

You persevere, you aim to ‘just do it’, and I believe from reviewing your products and the unique way you present things that you are touched with the brilliance gene.

That said, what I admire the most about you is that you is that you ‘get to work’ and have a thirst to not only LEARNING but finding that one gem that will help others learn better, faster, and easier.

I had John’s simple writing system order page in front of me but just could not bite the bullet and order. Luckily, came across your 3hourad and snapped it up 3 days back and have been busy studying it ever since.

At seminars I have the “one big idea” rule. Meaning I only like to watch the presentations until I get one big idea that I can implement in my business. Then, I’m usually done, unless it’s to watch someone I have absolutely been dying to see.

So I got that one big idea within the first 90 minutes. So I was good. I didn’t really attend any other presentation after that. Actually, most of the benefit of the event came from hanging out with my business partner Robert Plank, because we refined some ideas, mapped out some classes and came up with some new concepts for our businesses.
