7:29 am on the 30th of June my daughter,
Laney Elizabeth Fladlien, was born. She
weighed 8 pounds and 1/2 ounce, and was
19 3/4 inches.
And look at that full set of hair!
Everything went great – no complications at
all – and I can’t tell you how wonderful it
was…
I know, we had hundreds of people emailing
me saying it would be wonderful, and I thought
yeah, I’m sure it will be great and all… but
maybe they were exaggerating as to how great
it would be.
They weren’t exaggerating. If anything – they
were understating it!
I’ve been at the hospital since yesterday at
4 am, and this is the first time I’ve been
home… I snuck out real quick tonight to
write this blog post and teach a quick webinar
class… lol – then I’ll be right back there.
We’ve literally done nothing but sit and hold
Laney and stare at her – awestruck at such
a wonderful little miracle. It’s great.
It makes you reflect on life — a little over
18 months ago my 8 year old brother Ryan
passed away. I lost a loved one. Today I gained
one.
Life sure does have its ups and downs, doesn’t
it? Isn’t the circle of life amazing? It makes
me think that if life is tough for you right
now… HANG IN THERE… it might get better.
And if you take an active hand in MAKING
it better, chances are it WILL be better.
Or if life is great right now… it can still
get EVEN BETTER! And if you take an
active hand in MAKING it better,
chances are it WILL be better.
My life before the 30th was great – I’ve
accomplished several major life goals
I’ve had at an early age and I usually
wake up excited to start the day and go
to bed happy with the day… life was
REALLY, REALLY good for me.
Then Laney came. Now it’s EVEN BETTER!
Can you believe that?
It just goes to show you how many truly
wonderful things are out there for you
and can come to you in the near future -
regardless of whether it’s a new baby,
a new love, a new financial opportunity,
or whatever.
People seem to forget that, don’t they? We
hear so many complainers! But if you focus
on wonderful things – like if you’ve ever
seen the birth of your own child – and you
really focused on wonderful things LIKE
THAT – it’d be hard to complain about anything,
wouldn’t it?
Think of how much more resourceful that can
make you! And being more resourceful means
you can handle ALL situations in your life
better… being a better parent… being
a better child… being better financially…
mentally… spiritually…
I’m excited to see what wonderful things
Laney will do… TRUST me, you’ll hear
about them from me (LOL!)… and I am
also excited when I hear a client of mine
share a success story with me.
THAT, my friends, is LIFE. And I Love it!
Thank you to each and everyone of you for
being part of MY LIFE, and for letting me
be a part of yours!

Congrats on your little one and loved the video of her walking!
See you in Vegas tomorrow.

Jason,
Congrat! The joy of a first-time father is better than a new product launch!
Ways mind-boggling! Welcome to fatherhood, and enjoy every moment when your little one grows up, and start pulling your hairs!! : )
Cheers,
Felix
Congrats! What a cute little baby girl. I bet you’re a proud papa!
Congratulations! Enjoy every new day with your daughter. Blog about it – it will bring tears to your eyes when you read back. Wish I’d kept blogging about my daughter (who is now 10!) How time flies!
Hi Jason..
Sorry for this late comment. Recently, I have been busy with my tight schedule. Just wanna say congrats to you & your gf.. I can feel how great the moment will be when you hold Laney for the very first time. Yup, my sister just gave birth to a baby boy and we all really happy for you! Once again, congrats and have a happy life bro
Congrats Jason. My son died in 2002 and the Lord has blessed me with 3 grandsons. It is awesome. You will always be in awe. Kids are amazing.
Congratulations Jason! I am glad to hear everything went well. Thank you for sharing your joyful experience and a pic for us to see your new daughter!
Blessings galore to you and your family!
Nancy
Jason,
You’ll make a great dad and I’m sure about that after seeing a lot of your video seminars mainly through MNF. You have what lot of dads would love to have and that is laughter and joy, and children love that in people.
Here’s a long term prediction – well that’s the way I see it.
A few years down the road life gets much much better and exciting. You wait and see.
All the best.
Jon
Jason,
Congratulations to you and your wife on your beautiful baby girl. I think babies are the neatest things in the world. There’s nothing like holding a baby and taking in all the innocence you hold in your arms. Babies are just the greatest thing in the world.
Just don’t spoil her (to much)

Congratulations Jason! She is adorable. That is great that all went well and that she is healthy. I wish you and your family the best.
Cheers,
Robin
My first child was the beginning of an incredible adventure for our family. After five more children I have to say that the adventure continues to this day, and, we love it. My family, wishes your family, all the best in your new adventure.
Nice one, Fladders!
Congratulations from a father (& father to be again) to another.
Congratulations Jason! There is absolutely nothing better!
Not only is this journey “going to be wonderful” – no one loves a man like his daughter!
Enjoy!
Pat
Congrats, Jason! Laney is gorgeous!
